this advanced training.
- CCU has been
providing a quality education at an affordable price in the
Northland for over 80 years. This has allowed CCU to develop
better relationships with local salon owners and managers than any
other school. These
salons know a CCU graduate will be qualified.

and operated. Unlike the chain schools, your
tuition dollars stay in the community. CCU is very active in the
community with many charitable events each year that directly

students if needed.
You won’t find that level of comfort at a chain
school.

training from a variety of retailers and salon
professionals. CCU is not limited to the variety
of trainers that are able work with our students. CCU regularly invites experts
from companies such as Matrix, Kenra, OPI, Logics, Nioxin, Regis,
Cost Cutters, Great Clips, JCPenney’s, and locally owned salon
managers, just to name a few.
- CCU realizes that
your career training should be fun and not
institutionalized. Therefore, CCU students
participate in a number of fun and exciting events throughout the
year. The Heartland
Beauty Expo, Holiday Parade, Sidewalk Days, Women’s Expo, Kid’s
Plus Expo, Grad & Prom Expo, Fall & Spring Fashion Shows,
and the Aerial convention are just some of the fun events that CCU
students attend.
- Newly remodeled and
updated facilities with state of the art training
equipment. CCU’s theory classroom now has
High Definition video projectors for PowerPoint presentations and
DVD videos. In
addition, a new computer lab has been created at the Duluth campus
that allows students to reinforce classroom concepts with video
study guides and practice exams. The Duluth campus has 3 floors
with each level teaching something different. The Hibbing campus has 2
floors.
