Advising
Cosmetology Careers Unlimited offers academic advising,
including monthly progress reports. If a student does not maintain
satisfactory progress, a meeting will be set up and we will discuss
ways that we can better help that individual situation. Personal
counseling resources are also available upon
request.
Placement
CCU will include professional and personal development classes in
the cosmetology, nail tech, and esthetics courses. Subjects
of these classes will include resume writing, interviewing,
professional appearance, job searching, follow-up, and other soft
skills necessary for obtaining and retaining a position in the
cosmetology industry. CCU cannot guarantee employment as an
inducement to enroll, but will offer advice and training to assist
in a graduates search for employment.
Housing
We currently do not offer student housing, but can recommend
suitable housing in our area.
Student
Council
One representative is chosen from each class to participate on the
student council, which is responsible for student activities. This
council is also responsible for fielding student concerns and
forwarding them to the school manager.
Other Student
Activities
While enrolled at Cosmetology Careers Unlimited, you will have an
opportunity to participate in other activities, both in school and
outside of school. Hair shows, student competitions, and outside
classes are some examples.
